NDWF CONVENTION: REPORT FROM RODNEY O’CLAIR: CLEAN WATER, WILDLIFE & PARKS MEASURE IS GETTING NEGATIVE PUBLICITY ON STATE MEDIA. BCWF PLANS A LOCAL PRO-PRESENTATION. ESTATE DONATIONS WILL BRING POSSIBILITY FOR EXPANDED PROJECTS. DU HAS A MEASURE IN PROCESS, THE FUTURE OF HUNTING IN ND MEETING NUMBER 5 IS UPCOMING, CLIMATE CHANGE (?) AND NDGFD DEER LICENSE DISPERSAL FOR 2014…OF WHICH THERE WILL BE UPCOMING MEETINGS FOR CONCERNED HUNTERS. HUNTER-ED CLASS: MARCH 10,11,13,18,20…VCSU RHOADES SCIENCE CENTER, 6-9:30pm. FREE CLASS. REGISTER AT THE FIRST CLASS, BRING PENCIL & NOTEBOOK, MUST BE 11 YRS. OLD (MANY PARENTS TAKE THIS CLASS WITH THEIR KIDS IF THEY WERE BORN AFTER 12-31-61 TO OBTAIN A 2014 DEER LICENSE OR AN OUT OF STATE APPLICATION).

ICE FISHING DERBY HAD A GOOD CROWD ON THE ICE. LOTS OF FISH, LOTS OF ENTHUSIASM AND A ’WHOPPER WALLEYE’ WAS CAUGHT (see results posted). WE THANK JAY HOLM & COMMITTEE, THE FISH TANK, ENTERPRISE SALES AND DONATORS MAKE THIS A GREAT FAMILY EVENT!
