BCW Fun Night – We will be having the fall banquet and auction on
November 3rd at the Valley City Eagles
Moon Lake Picnic Shelter- The club has dedicated the new picnic shelter in memory of Bob “Swampy” Maresh for all his years of service to the club. Pictures are available our website and Facebook page.
Ashtabula Crossing Cleaning Station- The club has dedicated the new cleaning station in memory of Jeff Differding for all his years of service to the club. Pictures are available our website and Facebook page.
Buck Show-The Buck Show will be November 27th at the Eagles. The contest is open to any ND deer taken this season by bow or rifle, by a Barnes County resident or BCWF member. Deer need to be brought in the SE door between 6 and 7:30. If you would like to help with the buck show contact TJ 490-0929.
Dacotah Bank Donation – Dacotah bank has a Give Where We Live Initiative. Through that imitative bank employees get to select an organization in their community to donate to. Thank you to Dacotah Bank and Sue Kapaun for choosing BCW.
Antler Drop- BCW is looking into setting up an antler donation box. Donated antlers will be purchased by Double Drop Antler Company and funds will be put towards youth projects.
Winter Derby – The Winter Derby will be January 13th in Sibley.
Sheyenne Valley Calling & Raffle Contest – The hunt and raffle are scheduled for January 20st. .
NDWF Convention- The convention will be January 5th and 6th in Fargo. If you are interest in going please let Perry know.
BCW Predator Hunt- The predator hunt is scheduled for February 3rd.
BCW Foundation- The foundation is applying for a NRA Grant to help fund the high school trap teams.
Barnes County Wildlife has dedicated the new fish cleaning station at the Ashtabula Crossing in memory of Jeff Differding for his years of dedicated service. This is a major fundraiser for the club and any help with this would be appreciated.

Summer Derby- Casey Dodgson and Logan Clark won the 34th Annual BCW Walleye Tournament with a weight of 28.55lbs. Casey and Logan are back to back winners.
Moon Lake Picnic Shelter- Moon Lake picnic shelter is up. Thank you to all the volunteers that helped make this project possible and thank you to Matt Maresh for organizing everything.
BCW Winter Derby- We are planning to have the winter derby January 13th
Congratulations to Casey Dodgson and Logan Clark on winning the 34th Annual BCW Walleye Tournament with a weight of 28.55lbs. Casey and Logan are back to back winners.
Second place was Nick and Bruce Nielsen with a weight of 27.20. Third place went to Mark Volk and Sherry Bahnmiller with a weight of 26.10 lbs. Youth division was won by Josh and Connor Liebersbach with weight of 22.1 lbs. Second place in the youth division was Brent and Jayden Wendel with 18.45lbs. Third place in the youth division was Tony and Brooke Bundy with 8.25lbs. Fishing was good this weekend with 417 walleyes weighed in. Full results below and on our webpage.
This was the first year having the tournament in Sibley and we would like to thank the Dazey Sodbusters for hosting the event.

Summer Derby- Summer Derby will be June 10th and 11th applications have been mailed out to last year’s participants and are available on our website. We still have some open spots. You can also request one by emailing barneswildlife@gmail.com We have had some really good donations come in to help raise prize money and add some more youth orientated prizes. Thank you to the sponsors! I have attached the banner with sponsors to the email.

High School Trap- The state shoot is June 16th and 17th. TJ wanted to thank Delta Waterfowl for their $1500 donation to the trap team.
Take a Kid Fishing- Take a Kid Fishing is scheduled for June 22nd. If you are interested in volunteering or attending contact Ethen Preston 840-5224.
Cleaning Station- The new cleaning station for the west crossing is scheduled to be delivered in June.
Tri County Trap Club- BCW donated $1000 to their summer shoot.
Middle Eckelson Boat Ramp- The boat ramp will be completed next summer.
Summer Picnic – Will be at Dacotah Pavilion, in Chautauqua Park at 6:30 on August 9th. Please bring a salad or dessert to share. Bring your own beverage if you would like something other than pop or water.
