Buck Show- The buck show will be November 21^st at the Valley City Eagles.   The contest is open to any ND deer taken this season by bow or rifle, by a Barnes County resident or BCWF member.  Deer need to be brought in the SE door between 6 and 7:30.  If you would like to help with the buck show contact TJ 490-0929. 

Election of Officers- The election of officers will take place at the December meeting.  If you are interested or would like to nominate someone let Perry or another board member know.

G&F Advisory Board Meeting- The fall meeting will be in Valley City at the Eagles November 22^nd at 7pm.

Gas & Grocery Raffle- We will be mailing out the raffle tickets with the December Newsletter this year,

Deer for the Food Pantry – If you would like to donate a deer you can drop it off at Valley Meats.

Pheasant Tail Contest – The pheasant tail contest will take place before the January Meeting.  Please bring in the entire tail section from the pheasant.

Winter Derby – The Winter Derby will be January 14^th in Sibley.

Sheyenne Valley Calling & Raffle Contest – The hunt and raffle are scheduled for January 21^st.  Raffle tickets will be available at the November meeting.   

NDWF Convention- The convention will be January 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th in Bismarck. If you are interest in going please let Perry know.

Picnic Shelters- Faust Park is complete and looks great.  Thank you to Matt Maresh and all of the volunteers.  Moon Lake will be completed in the spring.

Summer Picnic- We had a great turnout.  We were a little short on fish this year due to having a 97% release rate at the summer derby.  

Summer Derby– We are looking at moving the summer derby to Sibley next year and running it out of the Sodbuster’s building.

BCW Foundation- The foundation is applying for a NRA Grant to help fund the high school trap teams.

Take a Kid Fishing- Is planned for Thursday, June 23^rd at 6pm. 

VC Trap Club- They will be having a couple of fund raisers this summer.  The first is a Swedish Pancake Feed on June 25^th at the trap range and the 2^nd will be Buffalo Burgers on Crazy Days at Valley Meats.  BCW donated $2500 again this year to the trap club. 

Mosher WPA- Barnes County Wildlife Club and the North Dakota Game and Fish Department have partnered together to put a 32 ft dock in at Mosher WPA.

Moon Lake – The Game and Fish is installing an earthen fishing pier at Moon Lake south of the boat dock.

Summer Picnic – Will be at Dacotah Pavilion, in Chautauqua Park at 6:30 on August 10^th. Please bring a salad or dessert to share. Bring your own beverage if you would like something other than pop or water.

Riding for Dreams- They are having a raffle with a 2022 ND Elk Tag as the top prize.  If you are interested in tickets Jerry Ryerson has some tickets, 490-2002.
