The fee this year is $230.00 with $70.00 of that going towards your meals on Friday and Saturday night. Burgers will be served on Friday night and Saturday night will be a steak supper.
We are doing an optional 6th tag for $10.00 per day again this year. It is a bonus tag and you can only weigh in 5 fish per day.
You may consider yourself in the derby if you do not get a cancellation letter and your entry fee back within 2 weeks. We are holding off mailing the second letter of acceptance until late May. At that time, we will provide you with all of the necessary information.

Big Spenders Banquet and Raffle- The banquet and raffle will be on April 2nd at the Valley City Eagles Club.

Hunters Ed- There was a larger spring class this year, 71 students signed up and 67 completed the class. Thank you to all of the volunteers.
Riding for Dreams- They are having a raffle with a 2022 ND Elk Tag as the top prize. If you are interested in tickets Jerry Ryerson has some tickets, 490-2002.
BCN Trap Team- Al Goering the BCN coach attended the March Meeting and requested that BCW continues to help support their trap team. BCW donated $1,000 dollars.
VC Trap Club- BCW is donating $2500 to the trap team to help cover costs of shells and targets for their summer youth shooting program.
Summer Derby- Summer Derby will be June 11th and 12th applications have been mailed out to last year’s participants.
Pheasant Chicks- If you are interested in raising pheasant chicks contact Perry 490-1797.
Sheyenne Valley Calling Raffle Report- We had a very successful raffle this year a raising $6,768.
NDWF- There will be a board meeting at the Valley City Eagles Club on 4/2 before the Big Spenders Banquet.
The deadline will be May 1 this year.

BCW Predator Hunt Results- There was 12 teams and a total of 28 hunters. There was 16 coyotes shot. 1st Place, 4 Dogs, Keith Hample/Rob Sandness/Brennon Weight, 2nd Place, 3 Dogs, Levi Christianson/Jarad Klein/ and 3rd Place, 3 Dogs, Christian Owen/Justin Gronbeck/Gary Will. Large dog was 37.60 lbs, Keith Hample/Rob Sandness/Brennon Weight and Small dog was 23.10 lbs Christian Owen/Justin Gronbeck/Gary Will.

Membership Drive & Landowner Appreciation Supper- We had roughly 125 people come, a good turnout was considering the weather.
Pheasant Tail Contest – The pheasant tail contest was at the January meeting. Marlow Stavens wont with a 24 12/16 inch tail, Tim Logan was second with 24 9/16, and Perry Kapaun was third with 24 8/16.
NDWF- Convention was held in Bismarck on January 7th and 8th. Attendance was down quite a bit. Elections were held at convention. Kerry Whipp is the new President, new VP Greg Gerou, and new Treasure Rod O’Clair. Derrick Rogers was elected as a director as well.
Big Spender- There is a couple tickets available. Please contact Perry if you are interested in a ticket.
Fingal Wildlife Club Smoker- Fingal Smoker will be February 11th. The club purchased some tickets again this year that were handed out at the January meeting.
